Thanks to the hard work of the Vancouver Myeloma Support Group, lead by Francesca and Richard Plaster, an amazing $22,600 was raised with the first annual Vancouver Myeloma Stroll for a Cure in Coquitlam Town Centre Park on September 25th, 2011.

More than 200 myeloma patients, family members and supporters participated in the 5K walk and showed their support in raising funds and awareness to myeloma research benefitting the Hematology Research and Clinical Trials Unit at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH).

Congratulations and thank you once again to Francesca and Richard Plaster for their strong effort and leadership – and to all who participated in and contributed to this important event!
