Make a Tribute
One of the hardest things we face in life is expressing our
feelings for another. Making a donation in the name of a family
member, friend or colleague is a meaningful way to let other know
you care. The VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation offers you a way to
do this through our Tributes Program. Not only do you honour
someone in a special way, you also help make our community a better
place by supporting health services for all British Columbians.
There are two kinds of Tributes you can make. The first is
“In Memory” of a family
member, friend or colleague who has passed away. It’s a
way for you to remember someone special and to tell others how much
this person meant to you.
The other type of Tribute is made
“In Honour” of a person or
an organization as a way of saying thanks. For example, many people
have given gifts, “In Honour” of our
doctors and nurses who have treated them or a loved one.
“In Honour” gifts may also be made in
celebration of a birth, birthday, anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or
wedding.
If you’d like to thanks, remember or pay respect to
a special someone, please consider making a Tribute gift to VGH
& UBC Hospital Foundation. Your gift can be used to fund the
latest, most sophisticated medical equipment, pioneering research
and world-class patient care for the people of British
Columbia.
